God is Pro-Life … and that is all that matters
Quotes:
“The first person to recognize Jesus as God was an unborn child still in his mother’s womb.” (John the Baptist – Luke 1:41)
“If a mother can kill her child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me. There is nothing between.” Mother Theresa
“I’ve noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born.” Ronald Reagan
SCOTUS Decision: Had nothing to do with outlawing or protecting abortion. It said there is nothing in the Constitution that can be made to consider abortion, so Roe v. Wade should never have been made law. Many millions of babies were killed during the last 49 years. Abortion is now a state issue – a political one in the minds of most people. It did not go away.
Pro-life verses:
“Then God said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness … So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them;” Genesis 1:26-28a
“You shall not murder.” Exodus 20: 13
“You clothed me with skin and flesh and knit me together with bones and sinews. You
granted me life and steadfast love, and Your care has preserved my spirit.” Job 10:11-12
“For You created my innermost parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works and my soul
knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You. When I was made in secret, and skillfully formed in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were written All the days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.” Psalm 139:13-16
“Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb, “I, the Lord, am the maker of all things,” Isaiah 44:24
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you…” Jeremiah 1:5
“With child” – The Gospels Matthew and Luke use this expression to describe a woman who are carrying another life in her womb. Revelation uses it as well. Pay particular attention to this language. It does not say fetus, embryo, or other words abortion proponents use to make it sound like this is not a child.
“But when he had thought this over, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 1:19
(John the Baptist) “…and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit while still in his mother’s womb.” Luke 1:15
(Apostle Paul) “God, who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb” Galatians 1:15
These verses prove God considered conception the beginning of human life.
Racial Discrimination – Abortion provided Planned Parenthood the perfect avenue to kill babies in mostly low-income black communities. That is where they set up clinics. By far the greatest number of abortions were on black women. Where are the outrage and cries from the liberal white and black that cry race on everything but this epidemic of murders?
Rebutting Secular (demonic) reasoning
- It is not about women’s reproductive rights. It seems more about women’s sexual practices. There are many ways not to get pregnant. Your mistake is NOT the unborn child, it was your choice to have sex knowing you could get pregnant.
- Women absolutely have the right to the health of their own bodies BUT not the choice to take the life of the second person within your womb once you get pregnant.
- Men who pay for, force, or encourage women they got pregnant to have an abortion are just as guilty before the Lord.
- There is no question there are rare situations where pregnancy or related complications endanger the mother. In those cases, the mother’s life has preeminence.
God extends His love, forgiveness, grace, and mercy to all women struggling in the aftermath of abortion, even years later. He still loves you and promises forgiveness of sins, grace, and mercy to all who come to Him in contrition and repentance. It is never too late to do so.
- You will receive and experience complete forgiveness of all your sins.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
God promised not only to forgive but forget our sins. There is freedom in that promise!
And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying… “AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE.” Hebrews 10: 15-17
- God will remove the filthy garments of guilt and shame and replace them forever with “garments of salvation – robes of righteousness.”
“I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,” Isaiah 61:10
- From the point of your salvation forward, you never walk alone for Jesus has said to us as He did to His disciples before His crucifixion,
“for He Himself has said, “For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”” Hebrews 13:5b
